Goal Using the Test Bank

The test bank is designed to help you learn and reinforce the topics you covered using the pre-study materials and during the review classes.  The questions are not intended to be representative of the number of questions you will see in a topic area; instead the questions will show how topics can be tested from different perspectives.  For example, you could be asked to use a formula and do a calculation or to be asked the theory behind the concept.

Using the Online Examiner Test Bank
  • Work all of the pre-defined quizzes first.  If you work all of the pre-defined quizzes, you will see all of the questions in the test bank.  After you complete the pre-defined quizzes, you should create custom quizzes on your weakest subjects.  You goal should be to complete the pre-defined quizzes, which will take about 40-50 hours.  From there, you should spend another 20 hours or so creating custom quizzes.
  • Most of the questions are middle-of-the-road; in other words, they cover 90% of the material that is likely to be tested.  From time to time, you may come across a question that is off in the emergency lane or even in the bushes… don’t worry about it.  You will get odd-ball questions on the Exam.  It’s all how you handle it.  You don’t need to score 100% to pass; just do a good job on the middle-of-the-road questions, and you will be fine.
  • If you miss a question, take a minute to make a flashcard of the question.  Build a database of flashcards that you can focus on the last few weeks leading up to the Exam.
